PYLON ONE, based in Thessaloniki, Greece, is a well-established NGO dedicated to empowering and supporting individuals across all age groups—children, youth, and adults. The organization’s primary focus areas include enhancing social and economic life, promoting education and culture, protecting and developing the environment, fostering sports and well-being, encouraging volunteerism and solidarity, and improving social conditions for people with disabilities and those with fewer opportunities, both in Greece and across Europe.
PYLON ONE partners with communities to raise public awareness, facilitate growth, and ultimately help create a society that values inclusiveness and creativity. Our mission is to improve the world by educating, motivating, and organizing a global community to make a positive impact.

Key Personnel
Konstantinos Symeonidis Konstantinos has a background in physical education from the Democritus University of Thrace, Greece. He has significant experience as both a participant and instructor in non-formal education and project management. Konstantinos is actively involved in EU project development and has attended various seminars and conferences on sports, social inclusion, and youth entrepreneurship. He is fluent in English.
Maria Symeonidou Maria holds a diploma in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Western Macedonia (2018) and a Master of Science in Energy Systems and Thermal Processes from Cranfield University, UK (2018), attained through a double degree-European Partnership Program scholarship. She is currently pursuing a Ph.D. at the Process Equipment Design Laboratory of Aristotle University, focusing on energy efficiency, decarbonization in communities and micro-grids, energy optimization, and energy storage techniques. Maria has been involved in three research projects and has authored or co-authored eight scientific papers in national and international conference proceedings and journals, as well as one book chapter. She works as a Renewable Energy Systems developer and an Energy Auditor, collaborating with three specialized companies. Maria is fluent in English, Greek, and German.
